Welcome to Module 3 of the "Activating High-Performance in Soccer Coaching" programme. In this module, we look at another critical aspect of coaching that distinguishes a high-performance coach: the development of mental resilience in your players.

Soccer presents its unique challenges and intense competition. Players face setbacks, adversity, and high-pressure situations regularly. As coaches, it's your responsibility to equip your players with the mental toughness they need to survive and thrive in these conditions.

This module will be your guide on the journey to developing mental resilience within your team, using the PAM approach.

At the end of the course, you will take away with you

  • Understanding resilience as a capacity that can be developed
  • Ability to apply the PAM 4A Framework to assess, adapt, and continously build resilience in players and team systematically.
  • Ability to interpret the level of resilience in players through the 22 key psychological attributes measured in the PAM Personal Operating System Assessment
  • Enhanced self-reflection coaching skills
